Okay... Hi, I'm Alain. Some here might know me. =p (Hey Carrie. =p There ya go. Hi Melanie also. =p )
I saw the thread on Marmalade Boy, and couldn't resist, after all, this manga is also by the same author...(Wataru Yoshizumi, unless I'm mistaken...and unless the name ON the actual manga is mistaken also. ^^; )
Plot? Do they have a plot indeed! See, Somewhere along in Japan, some mangaka just...snap...and come out with plot twists like these. I shall further explain:
Meet Noeru and Maria. Twins. Noeru being the boy, and Maria the girl. I specify that, cuz Noeru is actually a name either a boy or a girl could have (well, for Maria, it's pretty clear but geez... I only say so for completeness' sake). Noeru has always hung out with his sister, she's his best friend and all. One day, his father invites 'em both to a trip, but Maria can't go, cuz of a basketball tournament. She does promise though to go and join them if they lose. She never does join them though...and when Noeru gets back home, he learns Maria has transferred to another school, far far away from their home...gasp!!!
So he does what every twin brother in dire need of his sister does...he enrolls there, to convince her to come back home, and to their old school. but...(ain't there always a but?) see... this school has only one dorm room available, and a girl already lives there...so his father could only get him enrolled if Noeru makes himself pass as a girl. His dad and the principal there thought he wouldn't (this was the principal's idea, a woman, btw) but he did accept, and enrolls!
Basically, the rest can be explained as sis went there for boy, boy was basketball coach, boy is older than her, bro tries to reason her, fails, tries to keep her away from boy, sis eventually meets another boy (kid bro of coach boy) and falls for him, and bro actually also ends up in love...but, with his roommate. Who thinks he's a girl. Whee! Chaos ensues...and there was much rejoicing.
Anyone else following this series? (I don't even think it was released in English, I'm lucky, being French Canadian and all, we get to import mangas from France, and they have a s***load of 'em translated and all)
